Meet Tina Burgoz – Habitat’s new Chief Development Officer. Tina’s career actually began in Development at Habitat for Humanity Valley of the Sun (now Central AZ); She’s worked at Thunderbird School of Global Management as Associate VP of Institutional Advancement and has served as a nonprofit consultant for two different nationwide consulting firms.
When asked about her return to Habitat she says,
“I started my nonprofit career at Habitat 25 years ago and fell in love with the mission, the volunteers and the families we serve. I am thrilled to be back ‘home’ working alongside such amazing people to continue to make a huge, positive impact in our community.”
A proud Graduate of ASU, Tina was Chief Development Officer at All Saints’ Episcopal Day School and has served on the boards of The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Scottsdale, ASU University Club, Fiesta Bowl Committee, the Association of Fundraising Professionals Greater Arizona, and the ASU LSP Alumni Council. Though she has extensive experience in capital campaigns, strategic campaigns and board development, it’s her heart for people and the mission of Habitat that stands out.
Meet the rest of our team and revisit our mission and values here.
