Habitat’s Spring Newsletter

As we welcome the spring season, we are thrilled to update you on the latest progress and initiatives at Habitat for Humanity Central Arizona.

While we continue to construct new homes with our great city partners in Phoenix, Tempe, Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, Buckeye and Arizona City, our Neighborhood Revitalization program remains committed to making a difference in Greater Phoenix. Through collaborations with local residents, businesses, and organizations, we approach needs holistically, addressing repairs, accessibility modifications, and beautification projects.

We are proud to announce that Ms. Kirby Milner, our Director of Advocacy led the Arizona Delegation to Washington D.C. for Habitat on the Hill. She joined hundreds of other Habitat Affiliate leaders to help build broader support and awareness of Habitat’s work and advocate for programs that aide Arizonians in finding or improving their own homes. We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of a national movement to provide decent and affordable housing for all.

Our commitment to supporting veterans, for whom we provide affordable home repairs, and their families remains unwavering. Specially tailored solutions empower them, ensuring they have stable housing and can succeed in post-service life. And of course, our Aging in Place program is dedicated to improving the lives of seniors, allowing them to age in place and maintain their independence in the comfort of their own homes. We offer critical home repairs, modifications, and accessibility enhancements to promote their health, safety, and well-being.

As we celebrate the spring season, we encourage you to stay involved with our organization and continue supporting our vital mission. Together, we can build communities where everyone has a decent place to call home. Let’s give Arizona a hand-up!
