Habitat's Construction Training Program (CTP) utilizes the NCCER curriculum as the basis for its certifications.
NCCER has been the leader in construction education for nearly 30 years and is considered the industry standard. It currently offers more that 45 core and preferred craft trade programs. All earned credentials are transferable throughout the U.S. and are stackable as you continue your training after completing the pre-apprenticeship program. Every CTP instructor is fully certified by NCCER.
No Experience Necessary
Previous construction experience is not necessary to qualify for our program. As a training course we expect most trainees to have little to no experience. Our program is designed to introduce trainees to the construction field. Utilizing classroom, lab, and field experiences, we aim to give our trainees the tools to discover their interests and prepare them for a career pathway in apprenticeship programs, entering the workforce, joining the military, additional technical training, and enrolling in college or university.
