Habitat Central Arizona utilizes various programs to support our communities and raise funds for our mission. One such program is our Deconstruction Services, also known as “Decon”. The Habitat Deconstruction Service enable homeowners to offset their remodeling costs by taking a green -demolition approach to their renovations. Decon is a no-cost solution to remove kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, appliances, fixtures, and doors from a space before remodel or renovation.
If you are in the process of remodeling don’t waste time, money, or your goods! Contact our deconstruction services here. Our team will help identify materials and items suitable for reuse. Once booked, our skilled Deconstruction crew will come out and remove your items. Upon removal, salvaged items are donated to local Habitat ReStores and sold to support Habitat’s ongoing Mission. Donors receive a tax receipt for their donation and that’s it!
Remodeling can feel wasteful when things are still in goodcondition. Every year, more and more items are getting thrown into ourlandfills. Our Habitat ReStores are not only supporting our core mission, but also work to keep items out of our local landfills. The American Institute of Architects estimates that anywhere between 25 to 40 percent of the waste produced by the U.S is building-related waste. Rather than throwing out perfectly good items, you can donate them to a Habitat ReStore! This will keep more items out landfills, supports your community, and provides gently used goods to others at a great price.
Our Deconstructions Service benefit everyone. You save money with our no-cost solution for removal, your contractor has one less day of construction saving on labor and saving them money on disposal fees. Our service won’t interrupt your timeline as our team is in and out in a few hours keeping your renovation timeline right on track. Then to top it off, you get a tax-deductible donation slip, protect the environment and support Habitat’s Mission to provide decent and affordable housing.
