Meet one of our favorite Veterans!  He is a picture of what it means to serve, not only his country, but also his community.  His name is Raymond Rondeau.  Ray is 92 years young and resides in Chandler, Arizona.  He has been volunteering at the Habitat Restore in Mesa since 2007 – that’s nine years!  He comes in like clockwork at 8am three days a week and puts together our door knobs and keyed locks.

Ray, a WWII Veteran, recently returned from Washington D.C. as part of an Honor Flight that visited the WWII Memorial in early October.  We are amazingly blessed to have Ray serve with Habitat, share his many stories and photos from his recent trip to Washington and his wonderful sense of humor. Raymond, you honor us with your heart of service and we salute you!
