Thanks to the Arizona charitable tax credit law, state taxpayers now have more incentive to make cash donations to qualified charitable organizations such as Habitat for Humanity Central Arizona. Contributions may earn a dollar-for dollar tax credit up to $400 on a joint return and $200 on a single return on Arizona income tax. Cash contribution will receive a formal thank you letter, which can serve as a donation receipt for tax purposes.
